Salem Wildcat boys golf defeated the Flora Wolves 167 to 212 at Salem Country Club. Salem was led by co-medalists Jairen Stroud and Cale Harris with 41, followed by Hunter Russell with a 42, and Isaak Williams with a 43. Salem is now 6 and 2 on the season.
Christ Our Rock joined Litchfield and Staunton at the Vandalia Country Club with the host Vandals winning the 4-team event shooting 143, Litchfield 161, Stallions 183 and Staunton 198. Vandalia’s Chase Laack shot a 3-under 33 for medalist honors. For Christ Our Rock, Parker Boehne shot 39, Matthew Slover 44, John Rincker 49 and Ajay Quick 51. Vandalia’s Dylan Halford was also under par along with Conner McCall. Tug Schwab led Litchfield with a 36 and Preston Denny shot 43 for Staunton.
