The Salem Lady Cats dropped their Cahokia Conference volleyball match to Breese Central 17-25, 9-25 to fall to 1-5 on the season. The Freshman dropped their first match of the year 15-21, 17-21 and the JV also lost in 2 sets 17-25, 17-25.
South Central knocked off Dieterich 25-7, 25-13 to improve to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in the National Trail. Halle Smith had 5 kills, Zada Reynolds 9 assists and Smith and Sierra Arnold added 6 digs each. Emma Jenne had 3 kills and 2 blocks. SC also won their JV match 25-1, 25-16.
