The Franklin Park baseball and softball teams both return to home action tonight when they host Breese as both teams are coming off losses to Flora yesterday.
The Lady Bobcats fell 3-2. Mya Russell had a hit and run scored. Marah Johnson had a hit and RBI. Reagan Shuler pitched 7 innings striking out 4.
The Bobcats scored 6 times in the 2nd inning to take a brief 6-0 lead, but 11 runs for Flora in the top of the 3rd helped them to a 19-12 victory over the Bobcats in a game that featured 31 runs and 33 hits. Eli Lograsso went 3-4 with 2 RBI, Angel Salgado added a 2-run double, Colton Rogers drove in 2 and Jackson Green doubled and drove in a run as part of his 2-hit day. Ian Jones and Carder Walden had monster days for the Pups. Walden was 5-of-6 with 5 RBI and a long home run. Jones had 2 hits including a home run and drove in 4 as both kids accounted for 14 runs.
