The SC Falcons are back at it today at home in Farina against Sacred Heart Effingham. SC is 11-0 after yesterday’s 3-2 road win over Flora. The Falcons trailed 2-1 heading into the 6th when they plated a pair to take the lead. Reese Boyd drove in a run for SC. Luke Shumate was 2-4, Hudson Moore scored along with Sebastian Kruger and Boyd. Moore was the winning pitcher going 6.1 allowing 3 hits and 2 earned runs with 6 strikeouts.
Patoka/Odin knocked off Mulberry Grove 13-9. Brady Cain doubled twice going 3-4 with 6 RBI. Ben Spencer doubled as part of a 2 hit day with an RBI. Also driving in runs were Bo Chapman, Kyan Walker, Kody Burkes, Quinten Faulkner and Alec Payne. Cain and Spencer combined to strikeout 12 on the mound in the win.
The Franklin Park Bobcats look to improve on their 1-9 record when they travel to Altamont Lutheran for a 4:30 start.
