South Central hosted their tournament over the weekend in Farina and won a pair of games to improve them to 10-0 on the season. The Falcons opened the day with a 2-1 pitchers dual win over Cisne. Chase Guerrettaz and Garret Shumate combined to strikeout 13 and allow just 4 hits in the victory. At the plate, Guerrettaz drove in a pair of runs with a triple. Garret Shumate was 2-3.
The Falcons then got a great performance from 6th grader Colt Cartright on the hill in a 12-0 win over Patoka/Odin. The right hander allowed 1 hit and struck out 7 in the win. Offensively for SC, Trevan Sidwell doubled twice and drove in 3 with 2 RBI each from Hudson Moore and Kaiden Harrell. Hunter Thompson had the single for the Mohawks.
Patoka also dropped their game to Cisne 12-0. Thompson once again had the lone Mohawk hit.
