Both Centralia and Salem offering assistance with State’s Back to Business Grant Program

Centralia Assistant City manager Derek Sherman says the city is offering one on one application assistance Tuesday afternoon to apply for the state’s Back to Business Grant Program at the Centralia Regional Library Computer Lab.

DCEO has started taking applications for the program designed to support the continued recovery of small businesses across the state.

Sherman says the city has coordinated with one of the program’s community navigators to make free assistance available for local business owners.   The assistance will be available at the library from one to 5:30 Tuesday afternoon.

Business Owners are asked to please bring the following Documentation:

  • Business owner ID (ITIN business owners eligible)
  •  Signed W-9
  • Business’s 2019 AND 2020 Federal tax returns
  • Two (2) business bank statements – one from the period April through December 2020, and the most recent statement

There is $250 million available to small businesses across the state that experienced losses in 2020 due to COVID-19.
