The Franklin Park Bobcats dropped their road game at unbeaten South Central 8-2. The game was tied at 1 in the bottom of the third when the Falcons plated 4 runs.
Ryker Dodson drove in 2 runs with RBI also from Luke Shumate, Garret Shumate, Kaiden Harrell , Sebastian Kruger and Colt Cartright.
The Bobcats got 3 hits on the day, singles from Jackson Green, Brody Collier and Jaret Gibson. Noah Timm and Landon Maxey scored the Salem runs.
Trevin Sidwell was the winning pitcher allowing no earned runs on 3 hits with 14 strikeouts and only 2 walks. Cameron Carmichael was good on the mound for Salem going 2 innings allowing 2 hits and 4 runs. Keytin Grawe, Trey Clark and Green also pitched for Salem.
Both Franklin Park and South Central will host baseball tournaments today.
