Lady Bobcats Fall At Effingham, SC Wins Again, Quick’s Great Day Not Enough For WG

The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats fell on the road in softball 9-2 at Effingham.  Salem had hits by Brylee Pennypacker, Emma Lipe and Quinn Wolfe.  Quinn also added an RBI and run scored.  Salem returns to action at home today when they host Aviston.

The SC Lady Falcons are 8-2 following their 12-0 win over Altamont.  Kinlee Thompson led SC with a pair of triples and 5 RBI as well as getting the win in the circle.  Amelia Montes, Maddi Peddicord, Zoey Feldhake and Emily Rose also drove in runs for SC.   The Lady Falcons play at Sandoval this afternoon.

Willow Grove/ St. Mary’s Centralia fell to Hoffman Defenders 3-2.  Emrie Quick pitched all 7 innings striking out 11 in the loss for the Wildcards.  Quick lead the offence scoring both runs for the wildcards on 2 homeruns, Mackenzie Perez added a double. Reese Koester added a single.   The Wildcards will be back in action today as they travel to Selmaville.
