The Salem Soccer season is getting started this week. We have six teams this year from 1st-8th grade. We have a 1st/2nd Coed, 3rd/4th Coed, 3rd/4th Girls, 5th/6th Boys, 5th/6th Girls and 7th/8th Coed.
Thursday night we will have two games playing against Mt Vernon Lightning at FCC Fields. The Salem 5th/6th Girls and Boys team will play U12 Mt. Vernon Lightning. The Salem 7th/8th grade will play against U14 Mt Vernon Lightning. Both games will be at 6:30.
On Saturday, the Salem 1st/2nd grade team will host Bartelso at 9:00. The 3rd/4th Girls team will travel to New Baden at 9:00. The 5th/6th Boys team will host Highland at 1:05. The 7th/8th grade team will host New Baden at 9:00.
During many home games fans will be sitting close to Hawthorne road. Salem Soccer Association kindly asks that drivers slow down and pay attention while driving by the fields.
