Bobcats Fall To 0-2, Host Marion Today…..Central City Falls Short

Franklin Park fell to 0-2 on the baseball season with a 17-3 road loss at Carlyle.  Salem trailed 5-0 heading into the top of the third when they plated 3 runs.  Eli Lograsso had a hit, run and RBI, Noah Timm drove in 2 runs with hits also from Landen Maxey and Cam Carmichael.  Maxey, Kyler King and Keytin Grawe each pitched for Salem.  Franklin Park returns to baseball action this afternoon at home against Marion.

Trinity Hoffman scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to walk off on Central City 8-7.  The Citians got a double and triple from Brayden Wood as he went 3-4 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored.  Preston Feig added a hit and 3 RBI.  Kruz Jackson went 2-3 and also drove in a run.  Working on the mound for the Citians was Feig, Nolan Thompson, Jackson and Drew Jack.
