A 20-year-old Salem man was injured when he changed lanes on his motorized bicycle in the 1400 block of West Main in Salem during the noon hour Sunday.
Salem Police say Bryan Ary of Shroeder Drive was attempting to turn into Produce Plus and moved from the driver’s lane to the passing lane where it collided with a car driven by 83-year-old Donald Hatfield of New Harmony, Indiana.
Ary was transported from the scene by United Medical Response and was ticketed for improper lane usage.
Hatfield was not injured.
The crash occurred at 12:40 Sunday afternoon.
