Still need health care coverage? The special enrollment period for the health insurance marketplace ends Sunday.
But Get Covered Illinois’ Brian Gorman says there’s still time to check your options.
Gorman says, “This opportunity is for anybody who needs health insurance, regardless of whether or not you’ve been separated from your employer or you just didn’t take advantage of the open enrollment period benefits offered last year.”
Gorman says there are additional savings on premiums and out of pocket costs if you get your plan through the marketplace.
The enrollment deadline is August 15th. Visit getcoveredillinois.gov to get started.
