Liquor license being sought to turn old Medlin Store into video gaming center

A liquor license is being sought for the old Medlin Store on Route 161 at the Medlin Road east of Centralia.

Brian West and Patrick Watwood are seeking the license to open W and W Gaming.    In addition to having four to six video gaming machines, the business would also feature package liquor as well as food and snacks for those playing the machines.

Since the issue had not gone before the Marion County Board’s Liquor License Committee, the proposal was tabled until it was considered by the committee and brought back to the full board.   That is expected to happen next month.
