The Franklin Park Lady softball team had their season opener rained out yesterday. They turn their attention to today when they are scheduled to travel to Webster Family Park in Kinmundy to take on the South Central Lady Falcons. SC enters at 2-0 with weekends wins over Ramsey and Dieterich before having Monday’s game with Dieterich canceled. Game time at Deep Rock Energy Field set for 4:30.
The Franklin Park Bobcats will have one more day of practice before opening up defense of their state championship tomorrow at home against Woodlawn. Coach Tyson Moore had to completely reload after last years 8th grade dominant team that finished 16-0 and the Class L State Champs.
