Tryouts: Salem High School volleyball tryouts will be held on Monday. Freshmen will go from 7-8:15 a.m. with the sophomore through seniors going from 8:15-9:30 a.m.
Salem High School Cross Country practice starts Monday, August 9th at 7 am meet at the concession stand at the football field.
Sign Up: Fall Soccer Registration for the City of Salem Rec Department/Marion County YMCA is ongoing until Tuesday. Those registering after Tuesday will have a $15 late charge assessed to cover shirt set up cost. You will be assigned to a team if there is space available. The cost to register for a resident is $16 for 3-year-olds, $24 for 4-year-olds, 5-7-year-olds, and the 8-10-year-old divisions both are $32.
Sign-ups continue to August 20th for the Youth Disc Golf League from the YMCA and City. This is for boys and girls ages 5-14. Registration forms are at Salem City Hall and the fee is $32 for residents of Salem and $40 for non-residents.
