A 35-year-old Salem man has been charged with two counts of felony theft and misdemeanor criminal trespass to property following a June incident where he allegedly loaded up a trailer full of landscaping materials from in front of Four Seasons Garden Center on West Whitaker Street.
Salem Police say they were able to locate the truck loaded with the allegedly stolen items after video allegedly tipped police to the involvement of Damon DeBoer of South Jefferson Street in Salem.
One theft charge claims DeBoar stolen items valued between $500 and $10,000. The other theft charge claims the same theft but seeks an extended-term sentence if convicted because DeBoer has a prior felony theft conviction in Marion County.
DeBoer was given a notice to appear in court for August 3rd on the charges.
