2022 07/27 – Lawrence Edward Nadolski

Lawrence Edward Nadolski, 82, of Woodlawn, Illinois, went to be with his Lord at 3:14 pm July 24, 2022 at his residence in Woodlawn surrounded by his loved ones. Lawrence fought a brave battle with cancer for over two years. Lawrence worked for Wielt Plumbing and later owned and operated his own plumbing business (Lawrence Plumbing) for many years. He was a member of Local 551 Union Hall Plumbers and Pipe Fitters. Lawrence enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially, his coffee drinking buddies at Hardees.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Reverend Bob Keef officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Lawrence married Judy Pauline (Cecil) Nadolski on June 17, 1995 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. In addition to his beloved wife of twenty-seven years, Lawrence is survived by his children, Lloyd Nadolski of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Larry Nadolski of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Rebecca (Gary) Crider of Woodlawn, Illinois, Gordon (Tracy) Wilson of Wayne City, Illinois, Don (Cathy) Wilson of Maricopa, Arizona; daughter-in-law, Jean Nadolski; grandchildren, April Bonifacius Echols (Bart), Lawrence Nadolski II, Vicky Nadolski, Amber Nadolski, Connor Wilson (Fiancée, Caryssa), Caleb Nadolski, Brody Wilson (Aarin), Olivia Nadolski Williams (Isaac), Elecia Crider Bodine (Michael), Kalyn Crider Bond (Lane); several great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Jeff and Rhonda Dewald; and fur babies, Bailey and Audie.

He was born September 7, 1939 in Jefferson County, Illinois to the late Leo Mike and Lola Ruth (Rash) Nadolski. In addition to his parents, Lawrence was preceded in death by his son, Loren Nadolski and brothers, Raymond, Irvin, and Jim Nadolski.
