Sue Morris, 79, of Centralia, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side.
She was born August 16, 1942, in Centralia, the daughter of Monty Knolhoff and Delores (King) Knolhoff. Sue married the love of her life, Jerry Morris on June 25, 1961, and he survives.
In addition to her husband of 61 years, Jerry Morris of Centralia, she is also survived by her two children: Jason Morris and wife Katrina of California and Shelley Butts and husband David of Tennessee; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Monty and Delores Knolhoff.
Sue was a member of the Calumet Street Christian Church, formerly known as the Hickory Street Christian Church in Centralia. She was a member of the CWF Ladies Group and Flower, Decoration, Fellowship Committee at the Church. Sue had a passion for making beaded jewelry and making other crafts.
Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
A Graveside Service for Sue Morris will be held Monday, July 18, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Hillcrest Lakeside Chapel in Centralia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sue’s Honor may be made to the Oil Belt Christian Service Camp and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Morris Family.
