Donald Grubb, 90, of Centralia, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022, at his home.
He was born July 23, 1931, in Springfield, the son of Donald T. Grubb and Vivian (Westbrook) Grubb. He married Suzanne Ramsey on April 3, 1987, and she survives in Centralia.
In addition to his wife of 35 years, Suzanne Grubb of Centralia, he is also survived by his six children: Larry Grubb and wife Kathy of Springfield, Susan Knox and special friend Russ of Springfield, David Grubb of New York, Charles “Chuck” Grubb and wife Margie of Springfield, Tracy Logullo Francois and husband Joe of Centralia, and Jayme Logullo Alcorn and husband Brooks of Centralia; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; a sister: Wanda Gifford of Springfield; several nieces and nephews; and special family friends: Bob Haussler and wife Ashley and Boby Haussler all of Centralia.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Donald and Vivian Grubb and his brother-in-law: Jerry Gifford.
Donald was a member of the First Christian Church(Disciples of Christ) in Centralia. When he lived in Springfield, he sang in the Church Choir at the St. Cabrini Church. Donald enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with his family and friends.
Funeral Services for Donald Grubb will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Rev. Paula Comper officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Grubb Family.
