Wamacfest will return this year.
The Wamac Board of Alderman on Monday night set the event for Saturday, September 18th. The board also set August 27th from eleven to two at Wamac City Hall for a lunch BBQ to benefit the Wamacfest.
The board presented a plaque to outgoing alderman and zoning administrator Jim Hall for four years of service.
The board agreed to let part-time police officer Jordan Claar to also work in the public works department as needed at a pay rate of $15 an hour.
