Donna Bryan Anspach, age 82 of Salem, died peacefully Monday, June 27, 2022, at Odin Healthcare Center, in the arms of the Lord and going to Heaven.
Donna was born on December 14, 1939, in Devils Lake, North Dakota, the daughter of the late George and Emma (Madison) Kester. She married Olen Bryan at the Salem Church of God and he would later precede her in death. She then married Charles Anspach on July 20, 1991, in Salem, and he preceded her in death on April 7, 2022.
Mrs. Bryan is survived by her children, Mike Bryan and wife Penny of Centralia, Ron Bryan and wife Barb of Salem, and Connie Bryan and good friend Tim Ramey of Centralia; three step daughters, Melva, Debbie, and Yvonne; grandchildren, Brandy Jennings, Connor, and Madison Ramey, Matt and Joby Bryan; great-grandchildren, Hank Jennings Jr, Allyson, Ashlynn Jennings Bentley, and Brody Bryan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and grandson, Steven Wilkins.
Donna worked at Brown Shoe Company for many years and later at Doctors Nursing and Rehab as a cook for 25 years where she later retired. She was a member of the First Church of God, where she was a Sunday School teacher and sang with her three children. Donna had many hobbies, walking with her daughter, family get-togethers, playing games, watching Family Feud and Wheel of Fortune, and watching Cardinals baseball. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports. If you needed an answer to anything, she was always willing to listen and give you the answer. She loved dancing and especially enjoyed time spent with family and friends. She was loved by many family members and friends.
Graveside services for Donna Bryan Anspach will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at East Lawn Cemetery in Salem. Memorial contributions can be made to the great grandchildren’s college funds and can be left at Crouse Funeral Home which is assisting the family with arrangements.
