Larry Joe Smith, 63, of Boyd, passed away on June 26, 2022, at Nature Trails Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon.
He was born in Mt. Vernon on May 26, 1959, the son of William A. Smith and Mary Ann Mathis Smith.
Mr. Smith was a carpenter and enjoyed repairing cars. He was a graduate of Woodlawn and Rome Grade schools and Mt. Vernon High School.
He is survived by four brothers, William D. Smith, Rick E. Smith, Michael A. Smith, and Terry B. Smith, and several Nieces, Nephews, great-nieces, and nephews.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jimmy A. Smith, and a sister Pam Smith McBride.
