Salem 11u Falls Short Of Salem Tournament Title Game

The Salem 11u finished just short of getting to the Salem Tournament Championship at the Little League Complex falling to the Jasper County Eagles 10-9.  Kyler King tripled as part of his 2 hit day and scored a pair of runs.  Silas Lux doubled and singled with a run and RBI.  Also with RBI for Salem were Jaxon Ward, Drake Rector, Colton Tockstein and Huck Mulvaney.

In their first elimination game on Sunday, Salem shutout the Clinton County Bombers 9-0.  King doubled twice in the win as he went 3-3 with 3 runs and a RBI, Lux drove in 2 and Caleb Squibb added an RBI.  Landon White allowed 5 hits in the five inning win as he struck out 7.

Salem opened the tournament with a 19-3 loss to the Richland County Raptors and 12-2 defeat to the Jasper County Eagles 12-2.
