The Salem 10u Wildcats are champions of the Salem Tournament after beating the Rebels in yesterday’s title game 4-1. Kai Graham and Jayce Keller came up with big RBI. Owen Tennyson singled and scored with Drew Consolino adding a hit. Bentley Bryan scored. He also worked 4 innings allowing 4 hits and one earned run. Zane Applegate closed down the final 2 innings of no-hit ball for the save.

Salem beat the Flora Flame Throwers in the semifinals 9-0. Applegate had 2 RBI and doubled with RBI also from Jax Schaubert, Graham and Jared Crompton.

On Saturday, Salem beat the 618 Express Blue 10-4 with Applegate driving in 3 and Tripp Garden 2 RBI. They opened tournament play up with a 16-1 win over Flora. Owen Tennyson drove in 4 runs to lead a balanced Salem attack.
