Salem Police have arrested a 35-year-old Salem man for domestic battery, unlawful restraint, interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, and resisting arrest. Josh Seaton of East William was arrested after the alleged victim went to the Salem Police Station to report the incident at 10:49 Friday night.
Two people have been arrested by Centralia Police for domestic battery after an altercation in the 900 block of South Pine in Centralia. 45-year-old Michael Allison of Medlin Road in Centralia and 42-year-old Kimberly Allison of Champaign were both taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on formal charges.
32-year-old Dustin Johnson of Effingham was arrested by Iuka Police on an outstanding conservation warrant. He remains in the Marion County Jail in lieu of $3,000 bond.
36-year-old Jonathan Copple of East 4th in Centralia is being held in lieu of $2,500 bond on a Marion County traffic warrant.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy gave 22-year-old Chip Eckhoff of East Kerr in Centralia a notice to appear in court after he was arrested for alleged criminal damage to property.
