A 28-year-old Salem woman has pleaded guilty to one of two counts of aggravated battery to a police officer pending against her.
Michelle Hester of East Olive admitted to shoving a Salem Police Officer with both hands in a November 13th incident last year.
A second count of aggravated battery to a police officer was dropped as part of the plea.
Hester was sentenced to two years probation, given credit for one day served in jail and ordered to undergo drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment.
Hester reportedly had called police to her home to report that she had been battered. The aggravated battery incidents occurred after another person at the home was arrested for domestic battery.
