A 29-year-old Salem man has been sentenced to four years in prison after entering guilty pleas in both Marion and Jefferson County Courts.

Jakob Jones of West Warmoth was sentenced to three years in prison in Marion County Court on Tuesday after his probation was revoked on a car burglary conviction for not completing the required public service work.

The time will run concurrently with a four year prison term handed down earlier in Jefferson County Court on a possession of stolen vehicle charge. An eluding police charge was dropped as part of that plea.

Jones will also have to completed one year of parole when getting out of prison. He was also given credit for 324 days already served in the Marion County Jail.
