At the Little League Complex last night in girls pitch, Landers beat United Medical 16-2. For Landers, Reagan Shuler worked 3 innings and struck out 8. Kendall Zimmermann worked the final inning with 2 strikeouts. She also had a double at the plate. Ashlyn Jamison added a single. For United Medical, Quinn Wolfe worked 3 innings and struck out 3. Kinley Haines added a triple and double while Zetta Graham singled.
Wabash Communications also beat United Medical 11-5. In the win, Abigail Thompson worked all 5 innings and struck out 8. Caitlynne Bryan scored 2 runs, Brylee “Money” Pennypacker scored 3 times. Thompson, Rylee Wilson, Natalie Burgess, Aubrey Parker, Gracey Henson and Alei Deitz also scored runs. Adysen Pracht and Bella Winchester each drove in runs. In the loss, Emma Lipe struck out 4 in the circle with Keira Meredith adding 3 strikeouts.
In coach pitch girls, Bandy’s moved to 12-0 with their 20-5 victory over Modern Woodman. Gabriela Goostree went 3-3 with 6 RBI and a run scored. Gwen Goostree added 3 hits and 3 RBI. Bandy’s got 2 RBI each from Abigail Westman, Kenzie Collier and Madelyn Horton.
In tee ball, Peoples State Bank played Brad Decker CPA in the early game Monday. Defensively for PSB, Levi Knapp, Reed Knapp, Cade Rambo and Ronin Artieda all made plays for outs. Carter Smith, Maddox Smith and Chet Potter all went 3-for-3 and scored 3 runs. Gabe Schleuter had a double and 2 singles, Cade Rambo doubled twice and singled. Levi and Reed Knapp both hit a home run and doubled.
