Jane Faye Ioerger, 88, of Centralia passed away, Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Odin Health Care Center.

She was born September 6, 1934, the daughter of Frank and Lola (McHaney) Storment in Salem, IL.  She married Dale Ioerger on September 6, 1959, at the Patoka United Methodist Church.  In 2003, he preceded her in death.

Survivors included her two sons Frank and Harvey Ioerger both of Centralia; five beloved grandchildren, Jennifer Hefley, husband Kyle, Jamie Campbell, husband Brandon, Travis Ioerger, Amy Ioerger, and Cindy Ioerger; eleven cherished great-grandchildren Hailey, Mariah, Alicia, Icesis, Ciara, Taevon, Reese, Dexter, Rihanna, Camden, and Lily; and several precious great-great-grandchildren; and a special brother Frank “Ed” Storment.

In addition to her husband, Jane was preceded in death by both of her parents, sister Emma Lou Bernius, brother William Storment, and daughter-in-law Debbie Ioerger.

Jane was gifted with the talent of working for her hands.  From quilting beautiful masterpieces that she shared with her children and grandchildren to work the land with a bountiful garden that she loved to share her harvest.  At home, she would make a joyful noise to the Lord with the tapping of the keys on her organ or whipping up a pie crust that left the kitchen with a mouthwatering aroma.   She served the Lord by being the head of the nursery for several years at Demaree Church and later became a member of Cornerstone Church.  Jane will be remembered as a hardworking farm wife who above all loved her family dearly.

Celebration of life services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Cornerstone Church with Pastor Therese Melena officiating.  Friends and relatives are invited to a time of visitation from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 20022 at Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia and 10-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Cornerstone Church prior to the services.  Memorial contributions in Jane’s memory may be made to Cornerstone Church.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.maczfuneralhomes.com which is honored to be serving the family.
