The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an armed robbery at Biggies on Route 161 at Interstate 57.
Initial reports indicate a short male, wearing a red bandana and riding gloves entered the business, displayed a handgun, and took all the money out of the cash register.
The clerk was unsure if the man left on foot or got into a vehicle, but was gone at the time she reported the armed robbery.
There were no injuries.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is reviewing video of the scene to try and determine more information about the suspect.
The armed robbery was reported at 11:20 Saturday night.
