Police Beat for Thursday, June 17th, 2021

Centralia Police have arrested a 30-year-old Centralia man for possession of methamphetamine and on a Marion County traffic warrant.  Police say they first had contact with Cameron Jones of South Perrine Street when responding to a disturbance call at Lincoln Liquors.  Jones was first taken into custody on the outstanding warrant and then was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine and a drug pipe.

Salem Police arrested 26-year-old Brenne Blumhorst of East 12th Street in Centralia for retail theft and criminal trespass to property.   She was arrested at the Walmart Store.

38-year-old Sarina Clark of Salem was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on outstanding Marion, Clinton, and Coles County warrants.

36-year-old Ashley Dotson of Jana Drive in Wamac was taken into custody by Wamac Police on an outstanding Massac County felony warrant.  Bond is set at $10,000.

Salem Police arrested 19-year-old Alexis Fairchild of West Warmoth in Salem on an outstanding Marion County failure to appear warrant for unlawful use of a credit card.   The bond is set at $3,000.

46-year-old Paul Hanus of Baseline Road in Texaco was arrested at the Marion County probation office on Wednesday on an outstanding Marion County felony warrant.   He posted a $460 bond and was released.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of tattoo equipment from a home in the 600 block of East 4th Street in Kinmundy.
