Governor JB Pritzker is announcing a new COVID-19 vaccination lottery with ten million dollars in prizes.

The lottery is called ‘All In For The Win’.

“Illinois residents who have received at least one vaccine dose within our state boundaries will be automatically eligible to win ‘All In For The Win’.  There is no signup, no forms, no waiting in line.  You have done your part already and this is a way to say thank you.”

The Governor says the prizes are big.

“Starting July 8th and throughout the summer, the Illinois State Lottery will be drawing names for cash prizes ranging from $100,000 to $1-million.  For kids, they can win a Bright Start 529  College Savings Plan worth $150,000 each.”

Winners will be notified by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

A number of other states have already started similar lotteries to try and increase the number of residents getting COVID-19 shots.
