Central City Police arrested a 33-year-old Central City woman Tuesday for alleged aggravated battery to a police officer, disorderly conduct, and violation of bail bond. Central City Police say Samantha Morris had returned to her parent’s home on East Marvin where she was not allowed, broke out a window, and spread glass on the neighbor’s handicapped ramp. She had also been barred from the neighbor’s property as a condition of bond following an earlier arrest. While police were trying to take her into custody, she allegedly kicked one of the officers in the arm.

64-year-old Donna McLellan of South Walnut in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding Coles County traffic warrant.

30-year-old Bradley Venters of Community Beach Road in Odin posted $350 bond after being arrested on a failure to appear misdemeanor warrant.

29-year-old Brandon Rogozinski of South Poplar in Centralia posted $500 bond after being arrested at the courthouse for a bond violation.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary at a home in the 1300 block of Bethel Road in rural Odin. A four wheeler was reportedly taken that has not been located.
