Salem Police say two persons were checked on the scene for minor injuries following a crash on West Main at Walton Drive.
The crash occurred when a pickup driven by 49-year-old Cara Baur of Woodland Drive in Salem pulled from Walton Drive into a westbound pickup driven by 31-year-old Mitchell Garden of Lowery Lane in Salem. The fronts of the two vehicles collided at a right angle.
Garden and a seven year old juvenile boy in his car were treated on the scene by United Medical Response personnel.
Baur was not injured. She was ticketed for failure to yield.
A passenger in her car, 41-year-old Terry Griffin of North Shelby in Salem, was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail on an outstanding Peoria County warrant. He later posted $500 cash bond and was released.
The crash occurred around four Monday afternoon.
