Salem Police have arrested two persons in the theft of money from a woman who had passed out in the Gaming Room at Huck’s Convenience Store in March.
26-year-old Makayla Rowcliff of DeWolf Street in Odin is being held for felony theft while 34-year-old Anthony Harden of North Howard in Salem was taken into custody for conspiracy.
Police say Rowcliff could be seen on video surveillance taking the victim’s wallet while she was unresponsive. Harden reportedly was with Rowcliff and is believed to be involved in planning the theft.
Police say the wallet contained between $500 and $1,000.
