Police Beat for Sunday, June 13th, 2021

A 33-year-old Salem man was arrested by Salem Police for retail theft of items from the Four Season’s Garden Center on West Whitaker Street.  Damon DeBoard had allegedly been caught on a surveillance camera taking plants from outside the store.  He was taken to the Marion County Jail where he was later released on a notice to appear in court.

Salem Police arrested a 32-year-old Salem man for criminal trespass to property.  Anthony Arnold of West Lake had allegedly returned to Marion County Housing Authority property on Senneff Street where he was earlier banned.    The arrest was made after police were called to the housing apartments for a possible domestic dispute.

27-year-old Zachary Arnold of South College in Salem posted $1,150 bond and was released from the Marion County Jail on outstanding Marion and Clinton County warrants.

Salem Police arrested 33-year-old Aydrain Hooper on an outstanding Jefferson County warrant.    She told jail officials she was homeless.  Hooper was released after posting $300 bond.
