The Salem 11u swept Highland on Saturday with an 11-5 win in the opener and 20-12 in the second game.
In the opener, Drake Rector went 2-2 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored as he tripled twice. Scout Puricelli and Kyler King also drove in runs. Pitching for Salem was Silas Lux, Puricelli and Logan Butts.
In the 2nd game, Ethan Pride drove in 2 runs. Salem also got RBI from Nicholi Mahrenka, Puricelli, King, Lux, Colton Tockstein, Caleb Squibb. Huck Mulvaney worked 2.2 innings on the mound with Mahrenka and Puricelli backing him up.
