Police Beat for Saturday, May 29th,2021

What started out as a check on a person walking around the Bryan Bennett Library on Friday led to the arrest of a 36-year-old Salem man on a possession of methamphetamine charge.   Michael Lyday Junior of South Maple had gotten into a vehicle that was later stopped by a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy.  He was a passenger.   Lyday was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Centralia Police have arrested 55-year-old Allen Wilson of South Poplar in Centralia as a person of interest in an earlier aggravated domestic battery and violation of bail bond case.

Seven others were arrested on outstanding warrants.

  • 24-year-old Jacob White of Devonia Drive in Centralia was arrested on a Marion County felony failure to appear warrant in a pending possession of methamphetamine case.   Bond is set at $5,000.
  • 27-year-old Donald DeClue Junior of East 11th in Centralia is being held in lieu of $3,500 bond on a felony failure to appear in court warrant on a pending possession of methamphetamine case.
  • 59-year-old Jeffrey Longden of South Washington Street in Salem was arrested on a Marion County warrant to revoke his probation on a felony criminal damage to property conviction.  Bond is set at $3,500.
  • A 31-year-old Salem woman, Nicole Dutton of Lamar Street, was arrested at her home by Salem Police on an outstanding felony warrant on a criminal trespass to a residence with a person present.  Bond is set at $3,500.
  • Salem Police arrested 39-year-old Ryan Stratton of Oswego on an outstanding Douglas County felony warrant.   He’s being held in lieu of $7,500 bond.
  • 39-year-old Jessica Farley-Mays of Tower Hill turned herself in on an outstanding Marion County felony failure to appear warrant on two counts of aggravated DUI.  She was released after posting $300 cash bond.
  • 26-year-old Rasod Campbell of Franklin Street in Centralia posted $250 bond and was released after turning himself in on a Marion County traffic warrant.
