Patricia Anne (Hamilton) Mick, 79, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 in her home surrounded by her family. Pat was a honest, hard working individual. She worked for Holiday Inn/Ramada Inn for 17 years before she work for Addus Home Care 17 years. She enjoyed hobbies such as gardening, crocheting, and puzzles in her leisure time. She was known for her cooking skills and often would cook for family and friends at gatherings. She will be dearly missed by all those that knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Amvets Club Room at 102 South 17th Street in Mt. Vernon. She married Delmar Ralph Mick on October 24, 1958 in the Park Avenue Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon and he survives her in Mt. Vernon. In addition to her husband Delmar Mick of 63 years, Pat is survived by her children: Dale Mick and wife Tonya of Albers, Patricia Flowers, Theresa Mick and husband Dan Harriman, Mia Kaye and significant other William Visser, Jason Mick and wife Jennifer, Cara Donoho, and Tara Mick all of Mt. Vernon. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one brother: Charles Hamilton.
Pat was born June 25, 1942 in Ridley Park, PA, the daughter of Jesse Hamilton and Faustina (Border) Hamilton. Pat was preceded in death by her parents: Jesse and Faustina Hamilton, and seven siblings: Jackie Lowery, Jesse Hamilton, David Hamilton, Ronald Hamilton, Robert Hamilton, Richard Hamilton, Theodore Hamilton, and Theda Hamilton.
