Kell Firemen were called to a trash fire that had spread out of control and into a vehicle Thursday afternoon.
Chief Lonnie McDaneld says the fire was at the Josh Borgman home at 7104 State Route 161 in Iuka.
The pickup truck was totaled in the fire. However, firemen were able to keep the fire from spreading to a nearby home. Salem Firemen provided mutual aid assistance.
Earlier in the day, Kell Firemen put out a small grass fire in the median of I-57 near mile marker 105. There was no damage reported.
