Two SUVs collided at the McMackin and South College Street intersection in Salem Friday morning.

Salem Police say five people were treated for minor injuries after two vehicles collided at the McMackin and South College Street intersection in Salem on Friday morning.

Police report a westbound vehicle on McMackin Street driven by 29-year-old Christopher Cullum of Jennings Street in Salem failed to yield at the stop sign and struck a northbound vehicle on College Street Driven by 23-year-old Dustin Quick of Farthing Road in Odin.

Both drivers, along with six-month and three-year-old children in Cullum’s vehicle and a 12-year-old juvenile in Quick’s vehicle, were all treated at the scene by United Medical Response but refused hospital treatment.

Cullum was given a notice to appear for driving on a revoked license, failure to yield at an intersection, and improper use of an electronic communications device while operating a motor vehicle.

The crash occurred at 9:35 Friday morning.
