The Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies found a large amount of drugs and a gun when investigating a suspicious vehicle early Thursday morning.
Both the driver and passenger were arrested.
The driver, 28-year-old Brian Coleman of Rosemont, was taken to the Marion County Jail for unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of meth with intent to deliver, meth delivery of 100 to 400 grams, and possession of a controlled substance.
The passenger, 28-year-old David Bosler of Nation Road in Salem, was arrested for possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine.
Reports indicate a deputy saw a suspicious vehicle pulled into a residence in the 2300 block of Green Street Road and investigated. The Salem Police canine “Freddy” was also called to the scene. A total of 127 grams of suspected methamphetamine was allegedly found in the vehicle.
