Police Beat for Saturday, May 22nd, 2021

A 42-year-old Sandoval man has been arrested for fleeing and eluding police and on an outstanding Marion County warrant in a pending possession of methamphetamine case.   Sandoval Police reportedly followed Brian Hartnell of Florida Street on a riding lawn mower until he became stuck in the mud and gave up without further incident.   The bond on the warrant is set at $15,000.

Two passengers were arrested following a traffic stop on South Broadway in Salem on Friday.   32-year-old Travis Judds of North Scott in Odin is being held in the Marion County Jail for alleged possession of meth.  34-year-old Dustin Skurat of South Elm in Centralia was arrested on an outstanding Clinton County traffic warrant.

26-year-old Trevor Langford of North Street in Odin was arrested on a petition to revoke his probation for possession of meth and domestic battery.  Bond is set at $10,000.

44-year-old Jessie Wallace of West Rexford in Centralia was arrested on a petition to revoke his probation on a felony domestic battery charge.

24-year-old Justin Landreth of East McCord in Centralia was arrested at the probation office on a petition to revoke his probation.   He was released after posting a $350 bond.

Kell Firemen report a 2011 Dodge Caravan is a total loss after it caught fire while being driven on Route 161 a half-mile west of the AT@T east of Centralia.   LaShawn Wilks of Centralia was the driver.  He was not injured.   The cause of the fire has not been determined.  Firemen received the call at 12:17 am and were on the scene for about an hour and 20 minutes.
