Marion County Health Department reports one new COVID-19 case in past two days

The Marion County Health Department is reporting one new COVID-19 case on Thursday and Friday.   It is believed to be community spread and was not in a long-term care resident or a student.

There are now 13 active cases in the county and no one hospitalized.  Three have been released from isolation in the past three days.

The Clinton County Health Department is reporting three new positive cases.  There are now 13 on home isolation and one who is hospitalized.

The Jefferson County Health Department is reporting four new COVID-19 cases with 27 currently in isolation.

The Washington County Health Department is reporting one new case Wednesday through Friday.   There are currently three active cases in the county with one hospitalized.

The Illinois Department of Public Health is reporting 1,573 new cases statewide on Friday.  There were another 21 deaths.  They include two in Madison County and one in St. Clair County in the Metro-East.  No other deaths were reported in South Central or Southern Illinois.
