Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 28-year-old rural Centralia man early Friday morning for alleged criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to land, and assault. Reports indicate the incident occurred at a neighboring home to where Zachary Moore of the 1300 block of Green Street Road was staying. He was taken to the county jail.
Centralia Police arrested a 55-year-old Wamac man on drug charges following an early Friday morning pedestrian stop near the CVS Pharmacy. Ronald Courtney of Gilmore Street was taken to the county jail for alleged possession of methamphetamine, possession of a narcotic instrument and on an Washington County misdemeanor warrant.
Three out of state residents remain in custody after a traffic stop by State Police. 18-year-old Sergio Gonzales of Lansing, Michigan was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and obstructing identification. 18-year-old Patrick Patillo of Las Vegas, Nevada is being held for possession of 10 to 30 grams of cannabis. 20-year-old Keendre Hayes of Lansing, Michigan was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, illegal transportation of liquor, and obstructing identification.
30-year-old Dustin Marshall of Dover Street in Wamac remains in custody on an outstanding Marion County felony failure to appear warrant. He was
arrested by Wamac Police.
28-year-old David Bosler of Salem was arrested by Salem Police on an outstanding Marion County felony failure to appear warrant.
Three others posted bond after being brought to the Marion County Jail on outstanding Marion County warrants. 24-year-old Rachel Howard of East Senneff in Salem posted $150 bond after being arrested by Salem Police on an outstanding misdemeanor failure to appear warrant. 47-year-old Ronnie Smith of Springfield posted $2,000 cash bond on an outstanding Marion County felony failure to appear warrant. 43-year-old Bootsy Cleggett of Fairview Heights turned himself in on a Marion County felony failure to appear warrant. He was released after posting $200 bond.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary to a car in the 1600 block of Community Beach Road in rural Centralia. Loose change and paperwork were reportedly stolen.
