Police Beat for Wednesday, May 12th, 2021

Salem Police have arrested a Salem man for alleged domestic battery and disorderly conduct. Police say 32-year-old Loyd Finley of Spruce Street was arrested after they were called to an incident at his home.

A 34-year-old Salem man has been arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding Jefferson County failure to appear in court warrant. Kent Washington of Selmaville Road is expected to be transferred to the Jefferson County Jail on the warrant that has bond set at $30,000.

A 39-year-old Centralia woman, Heather Sconzo of South Brookside, was arrested at the courthouse on Tuesday for alleged violation of bail bond.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary to a pole barn on the 600 block of Green Street Road. It was not immediately known if anything was taken.
