Ricky Donoho, age 60, of Salem, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at his home, where he spent his final days in the care of his loved ones, per his wishes. Rick spent his life caring for his loved ones. From a young age, Rick worked to support his family. Many of his roles included supporting his community as a bus driver, a custodian for Hawthorne and Franklin Park schools, and an extra hand to his family and friends. His free time was spent caring for his family and nurturing the connections with his friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 7:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Rev. Joshua Phillips officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home. He is a hero to his children and their spouses: Daniell and Tara Donoho, Angel and Bradley Landreth, Seth Donoho, Sammy and Breanna Donoho. His home was a second home to his grandchildren: Victoria Donoho, Hunter Donoho, Raven Donoho, Karter Donoho, Raelynn Donoho, Elijah Landreth, Jaxon Landreth, Kinslee Landreth, and Liam Donoho. He was a pillar of support for siblings: Tina Ferrell, Rosalie Ferrell, Malinda Easley, Doris Arnold, Gail Lindsey, and Wesley Ferrell.
Rick was born on January 8th, 1962, in Salem, Illinois, the son of Barbara (Easley) Brown and Jim Donoho. He married Sylvia Loy in 1992 and she preceded him in death on February 4, 2012. Rick joins his mother: Barbara Brown, father: Jim Donoho, wife: Sylvia Donoho, and his two brothers: Clifford Donoho and Jimmy Donoho, in everlasting peace.
