A 45-year-old Conway, South Carolina semi driver was injured and arrested following a Saturday afternoon crash involving his truck on southbound I-57 near Edgewood.
State Police say a preliminary investigation indicates Christopher Dunn was traveling southbound when he ran off the left side of the road into the median. The truck overturned on the passenger side and came to final rest between both lanes of traffic in the median.
Dunn was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
State Police ticketed Dunn for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving under the influence, and possession and consumption of alcohol in a commercial motor vehicle.
The crash occurred at 2:14 Saturday afternoon.
