Police Beat for Friday, May 7th, 2021

A 39-year-old Centralia woman was arrested by Centralia Police for domestic battery. Candi Napoli was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Salem Police arrested 51-year-old Amy Moghadom of D’Ann Drive in Centralia on a theft case. She was later released on a notice to appear at the Marion County Jail. No other details are yet available.

Four others were brought to the Marion County Jail on outstanding warrants. 32-year-old Randi Taylor of Sandoval was arrested on a no bond warrant issued in Georgia on a probation violation. Salem Police located Taylor in a home at Salem Mobile Home Park during a welfare check. 31-year-old Amber Berry of Nation Road in Salem is being held in lieu of $7,500 bond on an outstanding Clinton County felony warrant. 33-year-old Timothy Smith of Adams Road in Kell was arrested by Central City Police on an outstanding Marion County warrant. Bond is set at $25,000. 27-year-old Jonathan Dennison of Chicago turned himself in on a Marion County misdemeanor warrant and was released on $500 cash bond.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary to a home in the 600 block of Fairman Road in rural Sandoval. The owner of the home across the street saw a washer and dryer being removed and reported the incident to the sheriff’s department at 8:18 Thursday night.
