A 27-year-old Flora woman was injured in a single vehicle crash late Thursday afternoon.

State Police say preliminary investigative details indicate Kristan Olden was traveling east on County Road 300 North west of County Road 1000 East when for an unknown reason she left the left side of the road and entered the ditch. Her vehicle then overturned and struck a utility pole before coming to rest back on its tires.

Olden was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A two-year-old girl and seven-month-old boy from Flora were transported to an area hospital to be examined, but were not injured.

Olden was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash and improper lane usage.

The crash occurred at 4:05 Thursday afternoon.
